My work at Independence Television encompasses the producing, editing and technical directing skills I learned while attending Wayne State University majoring in multimedia production. In addition to those responsibilities, I schedule content and maintain 3 Comcast channels. I am proud of my troubleshooting abilities and am known for coming up with creative fixes. I have an in-depth understanding of how a television studio functions and have been tasked with technical problem solving as the inevitable glitches occur. I have implemented new technologies including installing wireless camera transmitters to streamline operations. I maintain 20 edit machines and provide network storage for those machines. Over the last several years I have enjoyed combining TV production using my engineering abilities. I graduated in 2013 as a film major with a BA in television and film production.
My diverse experiences in media have shown me how much I love my profession and how I especially enjoy the collaboration and the quick thinking that is essential when filming live events.
